What if I don't have photo ID?

Edited

During the pre-assessment stage, you’ll be asked to upload your photo ID. This allows us to verify your identity at the start of your appointment.

If you do not have a photo ID (i.e. passport, driving licence, citizen card), we will accept the following alternatives:

  1. Two forms of ID from the list below

  2. One photo of you holding both of the chosen IDs up to the camera (please ensure the picture is clear and large enough for the ID documents to be visible)

Accepted ID documents:

  • Birth certificate

  • Marriage certificate

  • Utility bill (not a mobile phone bill)

  • Bank card with your name visible

  • Bank statement

  • NI card

  • Other official documents from a government organization, such as HMRC or DWP

Important: Please redact any sensitive information (e.g., transaction details) before submitting your ID documents. Additionally, you will need to present these same items to the clinician at the start of any appointments.
