Can I take my ADHD medication overseas when I go on holiday?

Edited

You can take your ADHD medication overseas, but it’s important to check the legal status of your medication in the country you are visiting. Some countries may have restrictions on the import of ADHD medications. Always carry your prescription and check with the relevant authorities before travelling.

You can also order a travel letter from us to take with you when you travel. The cost of a travel letter is £20 and payment can be made via this link. If you purchase a travel letter, please email us on clinicalcarehub@careadhd.co.uk to confirm your ID number and the email through which you made payment, and we'll respond with a copy of the letter.
